Follow the rocky brick path deep into Bear Country and enjoy the Old English Flower garden.

For smokers be careful of Smokey who will be watching you so you better walk along the lanes behind the gardens and near the duck pond. Ducks don't mind if you smoke by their pond. The lanes all around the town are very enjoyable.

New Market has a plethora of interesting stores such as the General store where you can browse, have soft drinks, lattes and huge selection of gifts and post cards, assorted Antique stores, small and enjoyable gift shops featuring reasonably priced jewelry, hats, purses and gift items. There are gift shops where you can purchase memorable items for family and friends and toys for the children back home. The town is small so you can spend much of the day browsing and snacking on candy, nuts, ice cream and all kinds of yummy goodies.

There are restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and if you care to drive there is plenty of parking. The Inn has three large carports and unlimited time to park on the street.
