Founder’s Town and Country Inn, a Bed and Breakfast, is located in the center of Historic New Market, Maryland.  Conveniently located close to local and interstate freeways.  The Inn itself has been completely modernized while maintaining all of its historic charm.  The rooms are well lit with large windows bright and beautiful with a fully energy efficient sunroom attached to a large, open, beamed, clean and modern kitchen.  Two comfortable dining areas and dining available in our old English style garden.

The bedrooms have new furniture recently shipped here from Hollywood, California.  The beds are brand new and very high quality and comfortable as is all of the bedding.  (I know as I have sleep tested each and everyone of them).  The bathrooms are completely redone and very clean, new and cheerful for the early morning start.  Lots of towels and robes provided for each room.  The windows and doors are energy efficient glass, which closes out most of the street noise, summer heat and winter drafts.  The Inn has new central heating and air.  There is a large deck where you can eat or lounge and enjoy with your family or friends.  There are umbrellas for your comfort scattered around the garden with lounging areas.

We serve a continental breakfast but will service a full breakfast by request with reservation at no extra charge.  We serve fresh seasonal fruit and juices daily along with hot baked banana bread.  What kind of a Bed and Breakfast would we be without hot bread?!  Coffee and tea all day and an afternoon snack on request at no extra charge.

There is a small duck pond that is home to ducks and Canadian geese that like to hatch their ducklings and goslings in the spring and summer.  There are sooo cute.  There are brown wooden bears hidden around the very large garden with a gazebo for you to sit and enjoy your beverages.  Don’t be startled to see deer, raccoon, little rabbits, ground hogs and very many variety of birds, including cardinals, blue birds, starlings, varieties of robins, yellow cardinals and many more varieties.  Seed is provided for you to feed them preferably in the morning.  Oh yes, there is a treadmill for your cardio if you feel energetic.
